About Amy
Amy is a Middlesbrough-born, Liverpool-based, neurodivergent artist whose work aims to capture the emotion and beauty of special places, moments and memories.
Amy rediscovered her passion for creating art in recent years in regular classes led by Liverpool-based artists Charmaine Chaudry and Harry Garner. Amy’s work spans landscapes, coastal scenes, interiors, special occasions, still life, and figurative work.
The image on this page - Self portrait at nap time with toddler Jesse (2026) - was exhibited in August 2026 in the Redcar Contemporary Art Gallery (RCAG) Summer Exhibition.
When she is not creating, Amy is an experienced inclusive educator with specialisms in SEND and English language. Amy is currently working on M.Ed. research into experiences of autistic females in sixth form education.
